After yet another trophyless season Arsenal fan's are growing tired of the same old excuses.
Although last Sundays victory over league rivals Manchester United was a sweet victory for fans it only left a sour taste knowing that it is just too late for a miraculous comeback in the title chase. Such displays beg the question 'why can't the Arsenal perform like this week in week out?'
It's clear a change is needed. Arsenal Football Club, a revolving door of below par fringe players may need to make the big decision and part ways with Arsene Wenger. The times are changing and with the emergence of Man City and Tottenham, the proof is there that money talks and some big signings are needed at the Emirates to steady the backline and steady the fans.
The glory days of when Thierry Henry would terrorise defenses is over. We can no longer rely on one man to inspire us to victory e.g Cesc Fabregas. A clean slate is what is required here and I think it's time for 'le professor' to move upstairs to the board room and let someone fresh with news ideas take the hot at the North London club.
My opinion? Louis Van Gaal would be a solid suggestion here. A man who has had success over the years in Europe with top clubs such as Ajax and Barcelona. He has a great football philosophy and put it best himself when in 2008 he said ' Everyone needs to work together to achieve a common goal. Preparing tour tactical formation is essential. Each player needs to know where he has to be, and that is why there needs to be a mutual understanding because you need absolute discipline'. Perhaps this is what The Gunners are missing?

SHAMEFUL BARCA
During the recent clash between Barca and Real Madrid in the Champions League we were subjected to a showcase of diving and whinging which has no part in the game at the top level.
In what was a much anticipated clash of two Spanish giants, we seen the magic of Lionel Messi overshadowed by cunning attempts to sway the referee. The culprits on this occasion were Pedro and Sergio Busquets who managed to con the German official Wolfgang Stark with their exaggerated falls and face clutching.
Although the theatrics were not very impressive it must be said that Barca were playing great football and ran out deserved winners on a scoreline of 2-0. Their flowing moves and passing were too much for a Madrid side missing the presence of Ricardo Carvalho at the back to lead the defence.
We can just hope to see this stamped out of football. Surely everyone would agree that a yellow card here and there are well deserved for such cheaters? All we can hope for is that the best team comes through victorious in the next leg and goes on to the final in Wembley as deserved winners.
