Although last Sundays victory over league rivals Manchester United was a sweet victory for fans it only left a sour taste knowing that it is just too late for a miraculous comeback in the title chase. Such displays beg the question 'why can't the Arsenal perform like this week in week out?'

The times are changing and with the emergence of Man City and Tottenham, the proof is there that money talks and some big signings are needed at the Emirates to steady the backline and steady the fans.

A clean slate is what is required here and I think it's time for 'le professor' to move upstairs to the board room and let someone fresh with news ideas take the hot at the North London club.
My opinion? Louis Van Gaal would be a solid suggestion here. A man who has had success over the years in Europe with top clubs such as Ajax and Barcelona.
